BISHOP
DALE D. DENNIS, II
The Right Reverend Dale D. Dennis II serves as the Senior Pastor of Solid Rock Church of Baltimore and as a Bishop in the New Day Interfaith Fellowship of Churches and Ministries. Having accepted his call to ministry at age 11 and being licensed at age 13, he has remained dedicated to the healing and revival of clergy, congregations, and communities.
Pastor Dale’s pastoral experience includes serving as Associate Pastor of Mt. Pisgah CME Church in Baltimore (2010-2013) and as Pastor of Russell Tabernacle CME Church in Philadelphia (2013-2018) and Hoyt Memorial CME Church in Wilmington (2018-2021). During this time, he also served as the New York–Washington Region Conference Minister of Music, Young Adult Council President, and President of the Philadelphia District Ministerial Alliance. With over two decades in ministry, Pastor Dale continues to serve in various capacities, including as a ministry consultant, guest preacher, director, organist, facilitator, and graphic designer.
Since 2019, Pastor Dale has served as the weekly Midweek Recharge Preacher at Ark Church in Baltimore. In November 2022, with the recommendation of Bishop J.L. Carter, he was elected Senior Pastor of Solid Rock Church of Baltimore and officially installed on January 15, 2023. Since then, Pastor Dale has invested in leadership development, strategic ministry planning, and fostering community and ecumenical partnerships. These strategic investments led to the debt free renovation of the historic sanctuary. Under his leadership, Solid Rock continues to grow as a family of faith committed to loving God, loving people, making disciples, and serving creation.
Since 2021, he has hosted The Clergy Conclave, an intergenerational and interdenominational gathering of senior clergy from across the United States for intercession, inspiration, impartation, and intentional self-care. In September 2022, he was elevated to the Episcopal Office of Overseer and currently serves New Day Interfaith Fellowship as the Overseer of Specialized Ministries & Church Advancement under the leadership of Bishop Albert Jarman. On August 1, 2026, Pastor Dale was consecrated to the Sacred Office of Bishop. He has completed studies at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA and at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, NY.
Overseer Dennis has traveled extensively to share the good news of Jesus Christ. While ministry has afforded him many honors, his greatest joy is being the father of Miss Kayla. He remains steadfast in his mission to serve God and lift the name of Jesus, bringing a message of life, hope, faith, and redemption to all who will listen. Pastor Dale leads with the mantra, “Leading Many to One.”
